MASSIVEAIRPLAY: MassiveAirplay Media presents the MassiveAirplay Top 50, the chart is compiled by monitoring and tracking songs receiving massive spins on 17 radio stations in Lagos and three music TV channels, compiling daily, weekly and monthly charts. We only monitor contemporary and urban Nigerian songs and songs featuring Nigerian artiste(s) to compile the chart. The result of each day’s compilation is released to the public and can be viewed here every day on this blog for free. MassiveAirplay Media is an independent body without affiliations either in the media or the music industry. We aim to accurately and consistently compile the first independent and comprehensive official music chart in Nigeria that will be widely adjudged as accurate. The goal is to keep track of the popularity of songs in Nigeria for years to come. We have started by covering radio stations in Lagos with plans to widen our coverage soon. The MassiveAirplay Chart is the first ever daily Nigerian music chart based on airplay – count along with us!
